The original farm was built around 1890 and has been family owned ever since. In recent years, the farmhouse and barn was completely renovated. The cottage was built from the old barn and part of the residential building. Here you will experience a stylish mix of traditional architecture and modern architecture.
Lehmen lies with its two districts Lehmen and Moselsürsch on the left bank of the Moselle about 19 km from Koblenz and about 31 km from Cochem. Like other communities in the Lower Moselle, Lehmen is climatically favored in one of the warmest regions in Germany. Perhaps that was the reason why Lehmen was already the target of colonization in Roman times. The first mention of the place was in 865 AD in a document of the East Frankish King Ludwig the German, under the name "Liomena".
In Lehmen there is about 100 meters from the property a bakery and about 300 meters away you will find the Gutschänke Würzlayhof, which is open Friday to Sunday. Wine sales also during the week.
